Chitosetsuru Sake Museum
Sapporo’s Oldest Sake Brewery
Earning the honor of being Sapporo’s first sake brewery, Chitosetsuru has continued to be in operation since its founding in 1872. At this brewery turned museum, the history of brewing culture is alive and well. When you first enter the museum, take a sip of the fresh groundwater from which Chitosetsuru is made from. Make sure to visit the sampling section to try out Chitosetsuru’s Ginjo, Junmai, and Honjozo varieties! On your way out, stop by the shop to get some sake, traditional sake cup sets, and a variety of other goods.
