Fujino Park
From late June to mid-July, the area around the Fujino Park observatory is covered with charming orange flowers called Ezo-kanzō. The "Ponmoshiri Island" visible from the observatory becomes a colony for black-tailed gulls (seagulls) in summer, and bringing binoculars allows for enjoyable bird watching.
