The Shiretoko Rausu Visitor Center is the gateway to Shiretoko and serves as a hub connecting nature and people. The center features taxidermied specimens of wildlife native to Shiretoko, along with informational panels introducing Shiretoko's seas, rivers, mountains, and culture. In addition to board displays providing real-time natural information, the staffed information counter offers updates on current natural conditions and recommended walking trails. In the lecture room, visitors can enjoy an original high-definition video (26 minutes) showcasing the four seasons of Rausu.
