Higurashiyama Observatory
A 303-meter-high mountain offering a panoramic view of Onuma Quasi-National Park and Mount Komagatake. It is said that people who climbed this mountain were so captivated by the breathtaking view that they stayed until sunset, hence the name "Higurashi-yama" (Sunset Mountain). From the parking lot at the summit, it's about a 100-meter walk to the observation deck. Although it's a small mountain, the magnificent scenery from here is sure to impress.
