Furano Jam Garden / Rokugou Observatory
They all look delicious! A lot of jams make my heart skip a beat. There is also a spectacular view from the observatory where you can enjoy the lavender.
We manufacture and sell delicious, additive-free jams made from fresh vegetables and fruits. With 38 varieties including mountain grapes, haskap, and rhubarb, a delightful point is that most can be freely sampled. In the "Jam Making Experience Workshop", participants can learn the jam-making secrets from the "Jam Auntie". You can take home a jam with a hand-drawn original label, making it perfect for creating memories.
On the premises is the "Anpanman Shop Furano" directly operated by Takashi Yanase, the original creator of Anpanman. The 1st floor is a shop selling Anpanman goods and a play area, while the 2nd floor displays original picture book illustrations, Ghibli prints, and animation cel drawings. Character stone statues line the front of the shop, allowing families to enjoy themselves thoroughly.
A viewing observatory within the Furano Jam Garden overlooks the Rokugo area, which was also a filming location for the drama "Kita no Kuni Kara". Surrounded by the magnificent nature typical of Hokkaido, the scenery here has been selected for the "100 Beautiful Landscapes". The area around the observation deck is filled with flower fields, with colorful flowers like lavender, poppies, sunflowers, peonies, rapeseed, and cosmos blooming in different seasons.
