Takino Suzuran Hillside Park

Flower-watching in summer and skiing in winter

Takino Suzuran Hillside Park is the only government-operated park in all of Hokkaido. No matter the time of year, the park has plenty of activities available for visitors and their families. During the summer, the park lights up in a colorful floral explosion. Fields of flowers bloom in the “Country Garden,” while a large playground awaits younger visitors at the Kodomo no Tani. In winter, Takino Snow World opens to allow visitors access to a variety of fun and family-friendly winter sports. Guests can ride down a 200 meter-long tubing course, snowshoe across the fluffy white fields, or hit the slopes for some skiing or snowboarding.
