Toyako Hot Spring is a popular hot spring village that welcomes more than 3 million tourists every year. Accommodation facilities are lined up along the shores of Lake Toya; from the guest rooms and open-air baths, you can enjoy superb views of the beautiful Lake Toya and Mt. Yotei, also known as "Ezo Fuji." From late April to October every year, the Long Run Fireworks Festival is held for 20 minutes from 8:45 p.m. every night, when fireworks emblazon the skies above Lake Toya. Hand baths and foot baths are also open to all at no charge in the hot spring town. The magnificent natural surroundings is another attraction, including Usuzan Ropeway, and Showa-shinzan with its white plumes of smoke.
