A confectionery and bread shop nestled in the woods by Lake Onuma

The confectionery and breads with sheep motifs are popular among women for their cute packaging. They are made with ingredients produced in Hokkaido. Komagatake Shrine

Shrine to pray for the safety of Komagatake and Onuma

This shrine stands in a grove of trees by Lake Onuma. It is said to have been built to pray for the calming of Komagatake, which has repeatedly erupted since ancient times. It is also a popular power spot. A spring from Mt. Komagatake flows beneath the boardwalk next to the shrine.

Kogetsu Bridge/Kinpa Bridge (about 20 min.)

Viewpoints overlooking the mountains

The walking path along the shores of Onuma Lake has many bridges connecting small islands floating in the lake. Among them, Kogetsu Bridge and Kinpa Bridge are recommended spots for taking commemorative photos. These bridges, which appear on picture postcards, offer a beautiful view of Komagatake over the lake. The scenery is even more beautiful during the season of autumn leaves.
