Cosmos flowers at Taiyo No Oka Engaru Park
Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park is one of the largest cosmos gardens in Japan, with some 10 million flowers blooming in a vast 10-hectare area. Supported by the volunteer efforts of local businesses and students, this site was born out of the desire for visitors to appreciate the beautiful flowers.

Sunflower fields in the beautiful “Hill Town” of Biei
Zerubu Hill is a popular sightseeing spot in Biei, a town known for its beautiful “hill town” atmosphere. Here, flowers bloom prolifically, depending on the season.

From mid-Sep. to early Oct., Sapporo’s Takino Suzuran Kyuryo Park hosts its annual Cosmos Festival, offering many exciting events and activities!

Sunflowers and cosmos garden at Omagari Lakeside Park
The sunflower field and cosmos garden at the Omagari Lakeside Park have a slightly unusual history: they occupy the former farmland of the Abashiri Prison.
