One of the most popular events at Lake Toya is the Long Run Fireworks Festival. As the name “Long Run” suggests, large fireworks display beautifully colors the night sky and lake surface of Lake Toya every night during a period of about six months. Since the fireworks are displayed while moving around the lake, they can be enjoyed from all over the Toya Onsen Hot Spring Resort area. We also recommend the “Ura-Hanabi Cruise” where you can view the fireworks from the back side of the boat.
