This is the story of nine high school girls achieving their dream of being a "school idol" band. It is the second installment in the Love Live! series, a multimedia project centering on the theme of achieving a collective dream. The first season of the TV series (13 episodes) aired from July 2016, followed by another season (13 episodes) from October 2017 and a film in January 2019. The series has sparked a variety of initiatives, including promoting and sharing information about Numazu City in Shizuoka Prefecture, the main setting of the series.

Sabo Kikuizumi
Sabo Kikuizumi in Hakodate appears in the series as the childhood home of the Kazuno sisters, who belong to Aqours' rival band, SaintSnow. It was built as a villa for the owner of a liquor store opened in 1882, and was lived in until 1990. The historic house and carefully preserved furniture set an elegant mood. Here you can enjoy local sweets and buy collaborative products.
