Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Ainu Cultural Experience in iwor Forest, Biratori Town, Hokkaido

• Visit Upopoy, Hokkaido's first National Ainu Museum, where you can get a basic understanding of Ainu culture through videos and traditional dance performances.
• At iwor Forest (Abetsu National Forest), Ainu storytellers will guide you through the forest, sharing insights into the past, present, and future relationship between the Ainu way of life and the forest. *iwor means "hunting and gathering ground" in the Ainu language.
• Learn about their initiative, "Managing Forests for the Next 300 Years to preserve and inherit the Ainu Culture."
• Traditional Ainu home dishes for lunch will be served at a recreated cise (traditional Ainu house) in a kotan (Ainu village).
